GAME: Boston Bruins (13-9-9-4) at Tampa Bay Lightning (14-12-5-1).
TIME: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. EST. The Boston Bruins will try to end a five-game winless streak as they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning at the St. Pete Times Forum.
The Bruins are 0-3-2 in their last five games, including a 1-1 tie with the Lightning at the FleetCenter on Tuesday. Rob Zamuner scored for Boston, which hasn't won since a 3-2 victory at Ottawa on Dec. 13.
"We've tied enough games," Boston defenseman Nick Boynton said. "We need to get wins if we want to get into the playoffs."
Boston, 12 points out of first place in the Northeast Division, has won just once in its last 11 games (1-5-4-1). The Bruins did play with some passion against the Lightning on Tuesday after losing their previous three games by a combined score of 11-3.
"We're making strides, we were emotionally involved all night," Bruins coach Mike Sullivan said.
Boston has lost its last three visits to Tampa Bay since a 4-3 overtime victory on March 24. The Bruins, however, have earned a point in 15 of their last 18 road games (9-3-3-3).
Joe Thornton and Brian Rolston, who both recorded their first career hat tricks against Tampa Bay, have combined for 56 points in 63 career games against the Lightning.
The Lightning dropped a 3-1 decision at Atlanta on Friday, losing for the sixth time in eight games (1-6-1-0).
Brad Lukowich scored the lone goal for Tampa Bay, which is 0-2-1 in its last three games -- managing a goal or fewer in each of those contests despite outshooting the opposition by a combined 26 shots.
"The deciding factor was we had 20 scoring changes and didn't finish," Lightning coach John Tortorella said. "We simply can't score a goal."

Boston at Tampa Bay Sports Network 12/27/2003
(Sports Network) - The Boston Bruins try to halt their five-game winless streak tonight when they enter St. Pete Times Forum to battle the Tampa Bay Lightning.
This is the Bruins' second straight game against the Lightning after they skated to a 1-1 tie with Tampa Bay on Tuesday night at the FleetCenter.
Andre Roy's goal in the opening minute of the third period lifted the Lightning to the tie in Boston's last game before the Christmas break. The deadlock moved Boston to 0-3-2 in its last five contests.
The Bruins have won just twice in their last 16 games overall (2-7-6-1).
Rob Zamuner scored for the Bruins, who are unbeaten in their last 19 games against Tampa Bay at home (14-0-5).
Andrew Raycroft turned aside 31 shots for Boston, and was nearly perfect aside from Roy's tough-angle goal in the third period.
Tampa Bay has struggled as of late, posting just a 1-6-1 mark in its last eight contests. The Lightning's woes continued on Friday, as they fell 3-1 to the Atlanta Thrashers.
Brad Lukowich scored the sole goal for the Lightning, who fell to 3-10-3 in their last 16. Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 21 shots for Tampa Bay in the losing effort.
The Lightning are beginning a five-game homestand tonight. On the year, Tampa Bay has posted an 8-5-2-1 mark at home.
Tampa Bay is unbeaten in the last five meetings (3-0-2) and has taken three straight from Boston at St. Pete Times Forum.

I will be in and out from time to time tonight.
Short handed goals really knock the wind out of a team.

The Bruins special teams are really bad. It's one of the reason they are not winning many games right now.
It's going to be a long season if they don't improve in that area.
