Well, I've been following the Bruins for over 30 years and the St Louis Blues for almost as long. I'm a hockey fanatic, I watch every game that is on TV that I'm home for (plus I tape a lot of them too). I don't have the NHL Center Ice package because if I did my wife would probably divorce me I'm a season ticket holder for the Worcester IceCats, and write a weekly (or so) column for www.icecats.com (which is what I'm supposed to be doing right now but I'm being lazy ), and write Blues' prospect information for Hockey's Future ( www.hockeysfuture.com ). And starting very soon (maybe the middle of next month, I'm not 100% sure) I'll be submitting stories for newspapers that don't send reporterd to Worcester to cover their teams when they play in Worcester. One of the reasons I like it here is that I can be a fan instead of a writer and can openly root for the Bz without having someone somewhere quote it like Gospell

Deadlines aren't usually a problem 'cause I set my own...won't be able to do that with the newspaper guys though but the fact that I'll be getting paid for it will certainly get my butt in gear a little faster. ;D
I have about a dozen friends over in Iraq. My wish for you is the same as it is for them--a safe return home.
Happy Holidays...

[glow=red,2,300]Thank you for the the wish! I hope to be out of here by March or April and at least back in Kuwait. My unit has been out here for almost a year.
So What are your thoughts on tonights game?
I am an eternal optimist when it comes to the Bruins. So I am going to have to go with a win pick. I am hoping to hear Bergie step up. I havent heard his name much lately. Well, I havent heard much lately but how bad the past few games have been.[/glow]

The Bs are slumping, the Rangers aren't a good team...anything can happen.

Here's some breaking IceCats/Blues news you won't get anywhere else (until later that is). Sergei Varlamov has left the team and has signed with Amur in the Russian Superleague. (Not that anyone here cares, but it is a scoop )

Well, because I'm good at what I do. ;D I was actually tracking down other news when I found out...the other news was the Blues signing Scott Pellerin to an NHL contract and recalling him from Worcester under emergency conditions. I found that out about 20 minutes before it was announced and posted that on a few Blues messageboards 2 scoops, 1 hour...that's a good day. ;D
